The 8th Hour v1.0.3 Patch Notes:
- Linux version now available (may be buggy, I need to do more testing)
- Time now correctly pauses when inside a certain device
- Music no longer fades out unintentionally when in certain locations
- Fire sound effect no longer ends abruptly when performing a specific action
Warning: Since version 1.0.2, future versions of the game no longer recognize saves from before 1.0.2
- Windows solution: If you are using the Windows build and want to recover the old saves, move all the files from "C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\The Eighth Hour" to "C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\The 8th Hour"
- Web solution: Unfortunately, I cannot find a way to recover saves on the web version. Luckily, this game is primarily knowledge-based, so the save data is not necessary in continuing a playthrough. If you would like to match your new save data with the previous save data, you just need to revisit the "devices" of the characters which you have already visited (successfully log back into them).
